Aftermath - did the First World War change Hinckley forever?

The talks take place in the upper schoolroom of the Great Meeting Chapel, Baines Lane, Hinckley, and commence at 7.30pm.
Admission is free to museum members (bring membership card) and £3 for non-members at the door.
Free parking is available in the Druid Street and Lower Bond Street car parks.

A Bank Holiday extravaganza of games, crafts and dressing up from different historical periods for children aged from 5 plus.
Admission £1 per person (includes museum entry).

Heritage Open Days 2018: Fridays 7th & 14th September and Saturdays 8th & 15th September, 10am – 4pm. Sundays 9th & 16th September, 2pm – 4pm.
Museum open with free admission (donations welcome).

The Atkins Tour: Saturday 8th September. Walk starts 10:30am at Hinckley & District Museum.
The Atkins Tour – a free guided walking tour of Hinckley & District Museum, the Atkins Building, and Great Meeting Unitarian Chapel to learn more about the Atkins Family and how this notable hosiery industry family are linked with three very different buildings.

Hinckley & District Museum Pub Quiz at The New Plough Inn: Thursday 25th October. From 7pm onwards.
Our pub quiz, held at The New Plough Inn, Leicester Road, Hinckley. Questions start at 8.00pm, but come early to get a table - open from 7.00pm. There will be an interval with chip cobs and sausage cobs on sale, proceeds to the Museum.
Teams of 4 - £2 per person.
